Plumas County Public Health Agency launched its syringe access and disposal program in June, 2018. The program is completely anonymous, and everyone is welcome. 

In addition to dispensing syringes, the program offers injection supplies, first aid supplies, safer injection information, overdose prevention education, HIV and Hep C testing and counseling, naloxone/Narcan distribution, and referrals to local treatment options.

          Home based services can be scheduled for people unable to access a regular locations.                                                                    Please call or text (530) 927-8142

LOCATIONS AND TIMES

All syringes and other sharp items MUST be secured in a sharps container. If you do not have one, we will provide you with the appropriate container for free.
